Card - You mean so much to me!

Hello! Welcome to my blog!

Today I have a new card to show you. This one comes out very late, as it was made for the Valentine's day, but you know what? We can give a card to our loved ones everyday and not just for the Valentine's day, right?!

What I sometimes find difficult to make, is to combine a love and appreciation theme of card, with a masculine style. So this card started with a white cardstock base but it looked so...not masculine! And then, as my hubby's favorite color is black, it 'hit' me. Let's introduce some black here! Then, it all came out easily. The black background would match perfectly with a combined black banner, and this is the result!

I love the texture of the red painted modelling paste!

I have also used a matching brad that says "you're my treasure" and a bow made from thick twine.

Κάρτα - Absolutely Delightful

Γεια σας και καλό φθινόπωρο! Μετά από ένα καλοκαίρι γεμάτο εναλλαγές έντονης δουλειάς και διακοπών (!), επιτέλους κατάφερα να βρω χρόνο για τις αγαπημένες μου δημιουργίες και να φτιάξω την παρακάτω κάρτα! Ελπίζω να σας αρέσει!

Hi, thank you for visiting my blog! After a long summer full of stressing work and some vacations, I finally found time for my favorite creations and made the following card! I hope you like it!

Κάρτα - Special to me!

Γεια σας, άλλη μια κάρτα σήμερα, αφιερωμένη σε κάποιο πολύ ιδιαίτερο άτομο για μένα, την μαμά μου! Ναι, επιτέλους αυτή η κάρτα είναι για σένα!!! 

Hi and thank you for visiting my blog! Today, I have one more card to show you and it is dedicated to someone really special to me, my mum! Yes mum, this card is for you (at last)!!!

Ξεκίνησα επιλέγοντας το χαρτί για το φόντο της κάρτας, το οποίο κόλλησα στο μπροστινό μέρος της. Το φόντο θα μπορούσε αντί με χαρτί να γίνει με αντίστοιχη σφραγίδα.

Initially, I have chosen the background paper of the card and I glued it at the frond. The background could also have been done with a beautiful background stamp.

Στη συνέχεια κόλλησα το banner σε χρώματα που ταιριάζουν με αυτά στο φόντο.

Then, I glued this banner with colors matching the background.

Σφράγισα τον τίτλο της κάρτας σε μια ετικέτα, την έκοψα με ψαλίδι που δημιουργεί σχέδιο στην άκρη και κόλλησα την ασορτί καρδιά με 3-διάστατο αυτοκόλλητο.

I stamped the card sentiment on a tag, I cut it with a special scissor that creates patterned edges and I glued with 3d-adhesive the matching heart. 

Στο τέλος, έφτιαξα έναν φιόγκο και τον κόλλησα στη δεξιά άκρη του banner μαζί με τα δύο λουλούδια.

Finally, I made a bow and I glued it on the right edge of the banner, along with some beautiful flowers.
